Chad Reed will not be part of Team Australia at the 2015 Motocross of Nations in Ernee, France. Motorcycling Australia (MA) announced over the weekend that the team will consist of Todd Waters (MX1), Dean Ferris (Open) and Jay Wilson (MX2).

While nothing official was announced from the MA as to the decision not to select Reed, one can speculate that the veteran may not have a new deal in place in time after closing the doors of TwoTwo Motorsports earlier this year.

Both Waters and Ferris, who compete in the FIM World Motocross Championship in Europe, missed the 2014 Motocross of Nations due to injury. They are currently eleventh and twelfth, respectively, in the MXGP Class.

The trip to France will be the first time Wilson will represent Team Australia at the MXoN. Wilson currently leads the MX2 Class in the MX Nationals in Australia.

Reed announced on Twitter last week that he decided not to race the Motocross of Nations this year:
