Benny Bloss is moving to the 450 Class as a fill-in for the injured Davi Millsaps this weekend at Round 15 of Monster Energy Supercross in Foxborough. Sources told Racer X that Bloss may race beyond this weekend if Millsaps isn’t ready to return. BTOSports.com-KTM-WPS has been without the injured Millsaps and Andrew Short for a portion of the season.
Bloss, the 2015 AMA Horizon Award winner, began his career with CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha racing to a fifteenth overall finish in the 450 Class at the 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season finale at Ironman.
During the off-season, Bloss signed with BLUE Buffalo/Slater Skins Yamaha to contest the 250SX East Region, but the two parted ways prior to the East Region opener in Atlanta.
After Luke Renzland sustained a broken collarbone, Bloss returned to CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha for a few races as a fill-in. He’s been back on a privateer Yamaha the last two rounds.
