Orange Show Speedway joined the growing list of tracks that have posted all events until further notice this weekend. The track announced the Postponement of all track actives due to the coronavirus concerns, including practice and all races until further notice on the track’s Facebook account:

After speaking with officials at the Nos Event Center we have agreed to temporarily postpone any race and practice days in the interest of everyone’s safety and at the suggestion of the CDC’s guidelines while our country and world at large is dealing with COVID-19. We all have personal opinions as to the severity of the situation at hand, this postponement should be no reason to panic or think that our racing season will be over. We will persevere, we will get back to racing and life will return to normal. Right now is the time for all Americans to band together and support one another while we face this crisis head on. God bless, stay safe, stay tuned and don’t buy all the toilet paper.

A closed practice season was schedule for Saturday March 21st at the speedway but is now canceled. The 2020 Orange Show Speedway schedule was scheduled to start on Saturday May 2nd. No makeup dates have been set.

Orange Show Sppedway’s move comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that that organizers cancel or postpone events for the next eight weeks that consist of 50 people or more in the United States

The White House released new coronavirus guidelines Monday afternoon that included “avoid social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people.”

Dates should be available sometime in late April or May after the CDC’s prevention has been lifted.
