TRICON Garage (TRICON) is pleased to announce that Crew Chief Jeff Hensley has joined the organization and will lead the No. 17 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro driven by Taylor Gray in 2024.
Hensley, a veteran shot caller in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS), will be transitioning from GMS Racing, where he enjoyed a bevy of success with Grant Enfinger, culminating in a runner-up finish in the 2023 point standings
The 61-year-old has 33 career NASCAR wins, featuring 11 Xfinity Series victories and 22 Truck Series wins since turning his focus to the series in 2001. Following the adaptation of the NASCAR Playoffs format in 2016, Hensley has guided his drivers to five playoff appearances, including two trips to the Championship Four.
In his first season as a Toyota Development Driver, Gray saw a surge in performance as his rookie campaign concluded with three top-fives and six top-10s including a career-best second-place finish at Kansas Speedway on September 8.
The pair will debut together as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season kicks off at Daytona (Fla.) Int’l Speedway on Friday, February 16. The race will be televised live on FOX Sports 1, with radio coverage provided by the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
