Former President Donald Trump Sr. is making plans to attend the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, track officials told WCNC Charlotte.

Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee in the 2024 election, could use Sunday’s visit as an opportunity to campaign for voters in North Carolina. Trump won the state in 2020 with 49.9% of the vote, defeating President Joe Biden by around 70,000 votes. Biden and Trump are set to have the first presidential rematch since the 1950s in November.

It’s unclear if Trump will make any appearances during the race or if he’ll simply be a spectator.
