James Stewart wins it! Davi Millsaps right behind! Trey Canard and Ryan Dungey are third and fourth.

450 Heat 1 – 8:22pm. Big holeshot to Justin Barcia. And Barcia rides off the track after bobbling halfway thru the first lap. At the end of the first lap it’s Andrew Short with the lead! He’s chased by Ryan Villopoto.

As they start lap three – it’s Ryan Villopoto leading. Andrew Short is second. Then Chris Blose, Matt Goerke, Weston Peick, and Chad Reed. Then Justin Brayton and Justin Barcia.

On lap five – this race is red-flagged. Stopped. There is an injured rider on the track …

OK, something you don’t see very often in supercross. In fact, we only recall it happening once before. They are going to restart this race – in a single file formation. So, it will be Villopoto first, Short second, then Blose, Goerke, Reed … Barcia seventh, Brayton eighth. We believe the injured rider is Jet Browne.

The heat race restart will have four laps to finish. Villopoto is lined up at the end of the start straight, at the entrance to the first corner. And then each rider is lined up behind the other … Short behind Villopoto … Blose behind Short, etc. etc.

They restart – Villopoto has the advantage. Followed by Short.

The finish of this heat – Ryan Villopoto wins. Andrew Short second. Chad Reed moves to third. Then Chris Blose, Justin Barcia, Matt Goerke, Justin Brayton, and Weston Peick.

The LCQ’s. Cole Seely wins the 250 class. Josh Hill wins the 450. It’s time for the Main Events.

Cole Seely is involved in a first lap tangle – he’s circulating at the back of the pack.

Up front – it’s Jason Anderson leading. Tomac and Roczen are giving chase … it’s Suzuki, Honda, KTM.

Lap five. Jason Anderson leading. Eli Tomac chasing. Ken Roczen just a little ways behind them. At the end of lap five, Tomac slips inside of Anderson on a right hander and takes over the lead. The running order – Tomac, Anderson, Roczen, and Malcolm Stewart.
