Australian Jackson Richardson will miss the upcoming Budds Creek National this weekend after sustaining a broken hand in a practice crash over the weekend. Richardson wrote on Instagram that he hopes to return in a “few weeks”.
Richardson is currently nineteenth in 250MX points after five rounds. He is the only privateer in the top twenty in points and has scored points in eight of ten motos this season. His best finish was a fourteenth in the second moto at Thunder Valley.
Richardson released the following on Instagram:
Bummed to announce that I won’t be competing at Budds Creek this weekend due to a practice incident over the weekend where I broke my hand. Hoping to be back in a few weeks it is really disappointing to be on the sidelines but I’m gonna keep pushing with my program and come back stronger.
