In a YouTube video on her channel, Hailie Deegan announced she will make her Xfinity Series debut on Oct. 15 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for SS GreenLight Racing.
“I really just wanted to make my debut, for sure, on a mile-and-a-half because that’s where I feel most comfortable,” Deegan said. “I wanted to get my feet wet in the Xfinity Series. I don’t know yet what I’m going to be doing next year.
“At least for the time being, we’re going for our first Xfinity race at Las Vegas and I couldn’t be more excited.”
Deegan will be sponsored by Pristine Auction.
No word on Deegan’s plan for 2023. She could return to the #1 DGR Ford in the Truck Series if the teams stays with Ford for 2023. Rumors have DGR moving to Toyota in 2023. Deegan is under contract with Ford.
