Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/RCH Suzuki’s Jake Weimer announced last night that he expects to race Round 12 of Monster Energy Supercross in Santa Clara on April 2 after dislocating his shoulder in Detroit last Saturday.
Weimer underwent an MRI this week and wrote on Instagram that he’s dealt with the injury before: “It’s happen to me one time before a few years ago and the Dr told me it looks better now than it did last time I saw him a couple years ago.”
Weimer, currently eleventh in 450SX points, said he will rest and do therapy this week and expects to race next weekend when supercross returns from Easter break.
