Anaheim 1 250SX runner-up Jessy Nelson was taken to a local hospital today after crashing while testing for Round 2 of Monster Energy Supercross.

According to the team’s Instagram account, Nelson was injured in a “high speed get off” and was immediately taken for further evaluation. An MRI and CT scan have showed that he sustained no serious injuries, per the team. Nelson will spend the night in the hospital so doctors can monitor his condition.

Nelson led ten laps in 250SX at the Monster Energy Supercross opener in Anaheim on Saturday, before being passed by eventual winner Cooper Webb.

Nelson’s status for this weekend has yet to be determined.
