Kyle Larson appeared on Friday’s CBS This Morning to discuss his suspension from NASCAR and his efforts to overcome that.
He said he hopes he gets another opportunity to compete in NASCAR.
AND: Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass confirmed that Larson has applied for reinstatement with NASCAR.
There are reports that Larson is in talks with Rick Hendrick to drive the #88 Chevy in 2021 and other reports have Larson driving for Tony Stewart in the #14 Ford in 2021. Nothing is official but it looks like Larson to Hendrick Motorsports is more likely. However, Rick Hendrick does not allow his drivers to race in other events (like dirt races) and Tony Stewart does let his drivers race in other events. Stewart-HAAS would be a better fit for Larson given his dirt racing background, but Larson has been linked to Hendrick Motorsport sponsors in the last few months. Nothing is official has been announced yet.
