After spending the last 4 season on Audio8ball.com, The award winning NASCAR radio show will be moving to its new home on ARN.
“We’ve had a great run on Audio8ball.com but over the years, we’ve had many offers from other stations and we found one that fits really well with what we wanted and needed,” said Alan Bailey, host and creator of The Pit Pass. Bailey created The Pit Pass (at one point called, NASCAR Nation) on Audio8ball.com in February 2009 with the first broadcast on March 4th, 2009.
“I have nothing but love and respect for everyone at Audio8ball.com. They took a chance with me and with the show and over the past 4 years, it has grown to a very good show with a large following. I knew this day would come at some point down the road and it was always the plan to move the show to another network and thats what we talked about 4 years ago and now thats its here, I can say that I will miss the station. They gave me and the show a shot to grow into something really cool, we’ve a have a long history and I will never forget it.”
Bailey and The Pit Pass move over to ARN to headline the station and spearhead the NASCAR news department, “The thing that I really love about ARN is that its a brand new station that has a lot of room to grow, and in some ways, it reminds me of Audio8ball.com when I first started at the station back in 2009. ARN is not only giving me this huge chance to help grown the station but I will also get to start a few other projects here that I couldn’t before. I can’t wait to get started, Daytona is 100 days away , but we go live on December 31st and I can’t wait.”
The Pit Pass will depute on ARN on Monday Dec. 31st at 6pm PT / 9pm ET
