Wow…what a weekend.

First of all, thank you Kevin Harvick for saying what I have been thinking about the Dillon boys since they have started coming up the “ranks” in NASCAR.  I’m not saying that either of the Dillon boys are without talent.  What I am saying is that I agree with Harvick when he states that they have their rides handed to them.  I think everyone at RCR probably feels the same way, but cannot really voice their opinions.  Harvick is on his way out the door, on to bigger and better things with Stewart Haas.  The only thing I can say, is that I do wish Kevin would have stuck around and faced Richard Childress and Ty Dillon.  He probably didn’t want to do that for many reasons, (paycheck, sponsors, his crew, his fans) but it would have been interesting to see.  Note to Kevin:  You have a son now, so in like 17 years, this may come back and haunt you buddy.

Congrats to Darryl Wallace Jr on his first win.  It is just sad to me that his first win has to be overshadowed by his race rather than his talent.

Mr. Biffle….I don’t know.  He ran up on Jimmie Johnson like such a whiner.  I wanted to throw him a tissue in case he started crying.  If Johnson had dumped him on purpose and took him out of the race, which he did not, then I could see running up and having “a conversation”.  But to run up crying because you have to go to the pits and start at the end of the field?  C’mon Biff…really?  It’s like he has never  been in a race before!  That’s racing!  And Jimmie handled that perfectly.  Not seeing that coming, and handling it the way he did…true professional.  Jimmie, I might not be at all a fan of yours, but I can say that you are a class act.  Greg just came across in all the interviews as a poor sport.  Yeah, we heard you had a fast car.  And you lost your position, and you had to go to the back….boo hoo….BIFFLE THAT’S RACING.

And that’s why I love it.
