Honda has signed a multi-year agreement to remain the title sponsor of the DAYTONA Supercross By Honda at Daytona International Speedway, the longest continuous Supercross event in America and the only stop in Florida for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship.

In addition to enjoying title sponsorship of the race, Honda will continue to have display and hospitality rights during Daytona 200 Week. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The 2015 DAYTONA Supercross By Honda, scheduled for Saturday night, March 7, is one of the most physically demanding events on the circuit. It was first held in 1971, and riders in the DAYTONA Supercross By Honda face a grueling test on a tough and grinding course, which has been designed for the past eight years by five-time DAYTONA Supercross By Honda champion Ricky Carmichael.

“We’re thrilled to have Honda return to the “World Center of Racing” for the 24th straight season and beyond,” Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III said. “Honda has been a longtime partner at Daytona International Speedway and the title sponsor to an event with a storied tradition. We’re excited about what the future holds as we continue to grow this high-flying, crowd-pleasing event.”

“We are very proud to continue a 23-year tradition of bringing the toughest and most exciting race to Supercross fans,” said Bob Gurga, Vice President of the Motorcycle Division at American Honda. “Daytona International Speedway shares in our commitment to make this the best race on the Supercross calendar. We look forward to many more years of great racing at the Daytona Supercross By Honda.”
