With the release of iRacing’s 2023 Season 4 build comes yet another major set of unlocks for iRacing’s industry-leading AI Racing mode. A whopping eight cars, five of them new, and 18 track configurations across seven circuits will be available for iRacing’s single-player mode with the release of the build.
The new cars are headlined by three machines that made their IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debuts earlier this year: the Acura ARX-06 and Porsche 963 GTPs, and the Ferrari 296 GT3. In addition, the Super Formula SF23 brings an exciting new flavor of open-wheel racing to iRacing, as Japan’s premier formula makes its debut in iRacing AI concurrent with its release. Finally, oval racers will get to add the 1987 NASCAR Cup Series Pontiac Grand Prix to the previously released Chevrolet, Ford, and Buick models in single-player action.
The new track configurations joining iRacing AI are headlined by all four layouts at Circuit Park Zandvoort: both versions of the Grand Prix track (with and without the chicane) and the shorter National and Oostelijk layouts. France’s Circuit de Lédenon will also be unlocked with its technical and undulating layout. Both of Kern County Raceway Park’s asphalt layouts, the half-mile Asphalt Oval and quarter-mile infield Legends track, will round out the offering for new tracks.
In addition to all the new vehicles, both cars from iRacing’s Kamel GT Series—the Nissan GTP ZX-T and Audi 90 GTO—will be unlocked, as will the NASCAR Gen 4 Cup car. The new tracks are supplemented by all five configurations on the Legacy version of Silverstone Circuit, the Club and Short configurations at Road Atlanta, The Milwaukee Mile, and three alternate configurations at the Nürburgring GP-Strecke: Grand Prix without Arena, Kurzanbindung without Arena, and Sprintstrecke.
